The Edmonton Geological Society (EGS) is a non-profit organization promoting the geosciences through talks, meetings, field trips, activities, and publications in Alberta and functions as the Edmonton section of the of the Geological Association of Canada. Our members include those working in the geoscience community and enthusiasts. We strive to promote the science of geology, foster the spirit of scientific research, encourage cooperation among its members and other geoscientist, and disseminate knowledge.
